DNE names SteelPoint Machine Tool as distributor

Global fabricating machine tool provider DNE Laser, a member of Bystronic, and SteelPoint Machine Tool, a member of On Point Holdings, have partnered to bring a new product line of DNE metal fabrication equipment to the U.S. and Canada.

Under this exclusive distribution agreement, SteelPoint Machine Tool is authorized to offer DNE products designed and built overseas, such as the D Soar fiber laser and C Bend press brake, to fabricators in Canada and the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii.

The fiber laser comes standard with two shuttle tables. When cutting with oxygen, the 15-kW laser cuts mild steel up to 50 mm thick. It also cuts stainless, aluminum, brass, and copper in sheet sizes up to 6,000 by 2,000 mm.

The press brake features a 2-axis backgauge system, mechanical crowning system, and fast-clamping system for Euro-B tooling. Also available are a 4-axis backgauge system, two front support arms, and hydraulic oil cooler.
